Our community as so much to offer during the holiday season, take some time and start some new traditions or revisit old ones. Santa At The Tippecanoe Mall
11/18 – 12/24
Santa’s Arrival is November 18! Bring the kids to meet Santa at the Tippecanoe Mall! Make sure they bring their holiday wish list! Due to COVID-19, there will be certain regulations and rules in accordance with health and safety. They encourage pre-booking your Santa Magic Photo experience. Reservations can be made online.
8th Annual Holiday Maker’s Market
Several Dates & Times throughout November & December. Come start your holiday shopping and begin your winter fun at Indiana’s annual Makers Market hosted by Wea Creek Orchard!Get your Christmas shopping accomplished at one convenient location! We will have a variety of local, small businesses sharing their talents. Whether it be handcrafted decor, handmade gifts, or a locally made art piece, Indiana Makers Market has you covered! Holidays At The Hann
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM various days. Explore the historic mansion, decorated for the season with a Christmas tree in nearly every room, model trains running through multiple rooms upstairs, and sparkling lights, festive decorations, and holiday cheer everywhere you look. Photograph the kids in Santa’s sleigh!
2021 An Old Fashion Christmas at Linden Depot Museum
12:00 PM to 5:00 PM various days. Come see the progress on the full-sized replica of an 1837 Norris 4-2-0 steam engine. Linden Depot Museum Ornament with donation of $10 or more. Train-related gifts available in the museum store!
UU Holiday Art Fair
12/3 – 12/4
Free Event! Visit our annual art fair featuring some amazing local artists!
Find the best gifts including jewelry, handmade soap, ceramics, glassware, fiber arts, watercolors, photographs, ornaments, cards, and more!
Friday, December 3 from 5 PM – 9 PM & Saturday, December 4 from 10 AM – 4 PM. Masks will be required at this event. Soups, bread, desserts and cookies will be available for take-home only.

Candy Cane Tours at McCords Candies
11/19 – 12/19
McCord’s Annual Candy Cane Tours are fun for everyone, young and old! Tours start November 19 and will run through December 23. All tours are $7 per person and everyone will get to make their own candy cane. Tours last approximately 45 minutes.
Open tours are on:
- Fridays each hour, 5-7pm
- Saturdays each hour, 12-7pm
- Sundays each hour, 12-5pm
Tickets for open tours MUST be purchased in advance; space is limited to 35 people per tour, so be sure to buy your tickets early! Private tours are Monday through Friday with the first tour going up at 10am and the last group going up at 3pm (tour times are 10, 11, 12, 1, 2 and 3). Private tours are for groups of 12 people or more – you may bring fewer, but the minimum cost is for 12 participants. To book a private tour, please call 765-742-4441.

First Friday Ornament Demonstration
12/3 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Polymer Clay Ornaments by Janet Fox Elmore
Come to Artists’ Own on Dec. 3 from 6-8 p.m. to see Janet Fox Elmore make an exquisite polymer clay ornament (trade names for the clay are Femo, Sculpey, and Kato). She sculpts richly pigmented polymer clay into rolled canes, then applies the sliced canes to a purchased glass ornaments and then baked to create a colorful, fun holiday decoration.
Janet’s creations are unique multihued treasures designed to grace your home with beauty or to give as gifts. Janet’s extensive clay experience inspires her to create one-of-a-kind hand-crafted ornaments.

5:30 – 8:00 PM Downtown Lafayette. Largest holiday parade in Indiana starts the holiday season…area bands, local floats, clowns, fire engines, police, postal workers and, of course, Santa are welcomed by the crowds.

Lafayette Living Nativity

6:30 PM – 8:30 PM Beginning with the biblical account of creation and ending with the prophecy of Christ’s second coming, 14 life-size scenes address the reasons for and result of our Savior’s time on earth. Involving a cast of hundreds, these scenes depict the significance of the baby in the manger and bring to life the message of salvation. You can either walk or drive through the nativity. Either way, you’ll be able to see and hear this amazing story through audio narration for each scene.

Jefferson High School Holiday Spectacular Shows
12/10 – 12/12 Every year when the holiday season is near, you can expect an outstanding show from the Lafayette Jefferson Choral Department. The Holiday Show showcases all six choirs in the department. Why not join us for another great holiday tradition as 200 students raise their voices in songs of the season at the 2021 Lafayette Jefferson Holiday Spectacular? Santa and his friends will also be there to greet you, and our annual cookie walk is sure to tickle your taste buds while your students lighten your heart with many songs of the season. Imagination Station Holiday Science Lab

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Imagination Station will be filled with activities each with a bit of holiday flair, and the building itself will be filled with jolly decorations and lights! Long Center For The Performing Arts Presents: The Polar Express

Winter Holiday Party

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Our annual Winter Holiday Party is back! After having to take a break last year, the Latino Center for Wellness and Education is extremely happy to be able to celebrate with the community once again. The event is free and open to all. This year our party will take place on December 11, 2021 from 3-5pm in the IBEW Union Hall, near Bingo’s and Ice Cream Specialties. Gifts for kids, pictures with Santa, free health checks, games of lotería, and many more activities will be available. Purdue Christmas Show 2021 – Virtual Event

After much consideration, the PMO staff made the difficult decision to host the 88th annual Purdue Christmas Show virtually again this year. We know that the Christmas Show has become a tradition enjoyed by many families, one that marks the beginning of your own celebrations. We hope you’ll take the time to view this video and to hear about the criteria we considered when making this difficult decision, as well as learn about our new streaming site, pmobroadcasting.com. Botanical Ornament Workshop
12/18 From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Prophetstown State Park. $5 per person, Create your very own natural native plant ornament- perfect for decoration or as a seasonal gift. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create a dove or a star ornament from natural plant materials sustainably harvested at Prophetstown State Park. Donuts With Santa At McAllister Recreation Center

9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Did you know that we have reimagined Donuts with Santa this year to be safe and smart during the COVID-19 pandemic? This year, your family will get their picture with Santa and then pick up grab-and-go donuts as well as holiday craft kits to-go! Your registration includes a free download of your professional photo.
