Friday, August 23

Summer’s End Festival 2019 Rossville

August 23rd, 24th, 25th click the link for all the times and event schedule. Every year Rossville celebrates the closing of summer with the Summer’s End Festival. Events include, car and bike show, golf tournament, fireworks, live music, street fair, parade, queen, little miss and mister contest, 5K walk/run and town wide garage sales. Wolf Park: Howl Night

Gates open at 7:15 PM at Wolf Park in Battle Ground. See the animals when they are the most active. Howl along with the wolves and coyotes!

Purdue Varsity Glee Club “First Nighter” Concert

7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Loeb Playhouse at Stewart Center at Purdue University. See the first formal concert put on by Purdue Varsity Glee Club of the year! Free event and open to the public, doors open at 7:00 PM.

Saturday, August 24

Beers Across The Wabash

3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John T. Meyers Pedestrian Bridge. Over 21 event. Sample an assortment of ales and lagers from 30 breweries from Indiana.

Indiana Bacon Festival of Carroll County Indiana

3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at The Square in Delphi. Bacon, bands and brews! Come down to the square for a great night. Check the link for more details.

One Size Fits All: Caterday Night Live

5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thomas Duncan Hall. Support the Almost Home Humane Society (AHHS) for the first annual Caterday Night Live event. Enjoy an evening of comedy, food and fun, auction items and activities. Dinner will include a full taco bar, desserts, and cash bar. All proceeds to go to AHHS.

Wabash River Ride

7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Fort Ouiatenon. Join cyclists of all levels for cycling along the Wabash River Corridor. Enjoy some sweet treats and home baked cookies provided by club members. Grab an after ride meal from one of the local food trucks at Fort Ouiatenon. Food trucks include Boiler Garden, The Guac Box, and Famous Franks. Wolf Park After Hours

7:30 PM to 11:00 PM at Wolf park in Battle Ground. Open late to tour the trail, and listen to the wolves and other creatures. Stop at the campfire to roast a marshmallows and chat with the staff.

Historic Lafayette Farmers Market (Downtown)

8:00 AM to 12:30 PM Downtown on 5th Street between Main and Columbia. Historic Farmers Market, fresh garden flowers, baked goods, vegetables, fruits, honey, jams, and jellies.

The Farm at Prophetstown Presents: Family Picnic

11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Farm at Prophetstown. Enjoy a family friendly lunch on The Farm featuring farm beef and pork and live music. $14 for adults, $7 for kids, children under 3 are free. Price includes park admission, reservations required.

Community Outreach Carnival

12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wea Ridge Baptist Church. Free community carnival with games, prizes, food, door prizes, bounce house and more.

Sunday, August 25

Fen Hike

2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Prophetstown State Park meet at Prairie Picnic Area. Partake in an afternoon hike with a naturalist to learn about one of the park’s most unique habitats and nature preserve.
