Friday, July 19th

Greater Lafayette World Series

At Loeb Stadium. Youth baseball teams play in tournament.

Tippecanoe County Dance Mob At TAF Gallery Walk

6:30 PM at Main and 2nd streets. The first Tippecanoe Dance Mob performed by 4 local dance studios.

Purdue Summer Concert Series

6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Purdue Memorial Union Front Lawn. Free concert series on Friday nights until July 26th. Food available for purchase, feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Concert to be held inside at the Purdue Memorial Union Commons if it rains.

Gallery Walk: Ella Sings the Songbook

6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Long Center for the Performing Arts located on 6th Street. Showcasing the life work of Ella Fitzgerald, enjoy a self guided pop-up exhibit of the “First Lady of Song”.

Lafayette Theater Presents: The Contortionist

6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at The Lafayette Theater on Main Street. Doors open at 6:30, show begins at 7:00 PM. $20.00 Ticket price. Enjoy Nick Johnston perform The Contortionist.

Wolf Park Howl Night

7:15 PM to 8:00 PM at Wolf Park in Battle Ground. See the animals in the evening for a howl night! Howl along with the wolves. See the website for a full list of details.

Outdoor Movie Night: The Princess Bride

8:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette on 10th Street. Free, family friendly event! Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and relax and watch this classic movie!

Saturday, July 20th

Historic Lafayette Farmers Market (Downtown)

8:00 AM to 12:30 PM Downtown on 5th Street between Main and Columbia. Historic Farmers Market, fresh garden flowers, baked goods, vegetables, fruits, honey, jams, and jellies.

CityBus “Tour the Town”

9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Board at 5th and Main Streets. FREE to ride enjoy a narrated tour of Lafayette, West Lafayette and Purdue University.

Karl Martz and the Legacy of Indiana University Ceramics

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM- Located at the Haan Museum, learn about Karl Martz’s influence through and beyond the ceramics program he created at Indiana University. Not recommended for children age 4 and under.

The 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing at the Cradle of Astronauts

10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Purdue University Campus. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 lunar landing with Purdue University. Partake in campus events including talks by NASA flight directors, kids activities, and the new release of a new Neil Armstrong documentary.

The Farm at Prophetstown Presents: Meet the Horses and Minis

11:00 AM at Prophetstown State Park at The Farm. Meet the horses, learn about them and get your photo taken.

9:30 AM to 3:30 PM located in Dayton, antiques, crafts, fresh flowers and food provided by Trish’s Red Bird Cafe.

Sunday, July 21st

National Ice Cream Day at the Hann Museum

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hann Museum located on East State Street. The Hann Museum will provide free ice cream cones and sundaes with an assortment of toppings.

Enrichment Day At Wolf Park

1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wolf Park in Battle Ground. Learn how to keep wild animals entertained and take part in the fun. Help build enrichment devices, decorate the enclosure, and watch the wolves explore.

The Farm at Prophetstown Presents: Class- Medicinal Plants of the Native Village and Farm

1:00 PM at the Native American Village to learn about traditional uses for the native plants found on the prairie. Then take a trip to the Farm and learn about medicinal plants used on the homestead.
