Art Museum of Greater Lafayette Exhibits

Two Maples Summer Market

5:00 PM to 8:00 PM – Support the New Chauncey Housing’s mission to provide affordable home ownership while preserving and stabilizing our neighborhoods. Over 20 vendors inside and out and the market also showcases artists, artisans, local entrepreneurs, food trucks and live music!

Friday Night Cruise In at AJ’s

6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at AJ’s on Promenade Parkway in Lafayette. On the first Friday of the month all summer long enjoy a car show at AJ’s. Roll in at 6:00 PM and enjoy the cars for as long as you like taking in the music, raffles, door prizes and even small trophies every month.

Nine Irish Brothers Presents: Graham’s Heart Warrior Ride

9:00 AM registration, kickstands up at 11:00 AM. Ride begins at Nine Irish Brothers in Lafayette. Graham was born with half a heart, due to a defect called hypoplastic right heart syndrome. Karl Martz and the Legacy of Indiana University Ceramics

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM- Located at the Haan Museum, learn about Karl Martz’s influence through and beyond the ceramics program he created at Indiana University. Not recommended for children age 4 and under.

Otters at the AQC at Prophetstown State Park

3:15 PM at the Aquatic Center at Prophetstown State Park. Learn about otters and take a break from swimming!

Mosey Down Main Street

6:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Main Street Downtown Lafayette. Enjoy three stages of music, outdoor food, beer, wine, street performers, sidewalk chalk, hand made hula hoops, drum circles, DJ’s, Belly dancers and balloon animals at the free family friendly event.

Wolf Park Howl Nights!

7:30 PM at Wolf Park on 800 N in Battle Ground. Come out and howl with the wolves. Listen to a lecture on wolf communication, see some of the staff interact with the wolves, and of course howl with the wolves! $8 for adults, $6 for ages 6-13, free for 5 and under.

Blockhouse Living Histories

10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Fort Ouiatenon blockhouse. Talented living historians will portraying the French trade enterprise of the early 18th century.

Animal Care at Prophetstown State Park

10:00 AM at Prophetstown State Park Visitor’s Center. Learn how to care for animals at Prophtetsown, and watch native critters eat.

5th Annual Outdoor Explore

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater in West Lafayette and Bicentennial Nature Arena in Lafayette. Free all ages event to connect people with a range of outdoor pursuits through activities at booths staffed by experts in various outdoor hobbies.

The Farm at Prophetstown Presents Homesteading: Beekeeping Basics

11:00 AM at the Farm at Prophetstown. Learn about beekeeping from the Farm’s volunteer beekeepers. Explore equipment and techniques from the 1920’s to today!

Enrichment Day At Wolf Park

1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wolf Park in Battleground. Here you get to be part of enriching the lives of the park’s wolves, coyotes and foxes. Help build enrichment devices, decorate the main enclosure, watch the wolves explore, and learn how to entertain your pets at home.

Fire & Iron Station 123 Annual “Suicide Prevention Ride”

10:00 AM to 4:30 PM starting location Sheffield Fire Department in Dayton. Registration 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM , registration fee $20 per bike. Kickstands up at Noon, ending location is Legacy Pup on Daughtery Dr. Lafayette. Proceeds will benefit National Alliance on Mental Illness – West Central Indiana in loving memory of Michael “Chappy” Chapman. Food, drinks, and door prizes available. Bee Hotel at Prophetstown State Park
